Governance:
The Silver Blades Figure Skating Club is affiliated to the South Australia Ice Skating Association Inc (SAISA), which is part of the ISU (International Skating Union) structure and as such comes under the governing rules of the ISU and ISA (Ice Skating Australia).

Permits:
As the Silver Blades Figure Skating Club is affiliated to South Australia Ice Skating Association Inc (SAISA), who is part of the ISU (International Skating Union) structure and as such comes under the governing rules of the ISU and ISA (Ice Skating Australia), there is a requirement for the club to submit a permit application for any events that are organised by the club. For members who wish to take part in any other events that are not organised by the Silver Blades Club, or SAISA or ISA's events, will require to submit a permit application to SAISA requesting an approval to participate for the event.

Skaters & Parents, you are encouraged to discuss with your coach(es) as they would have been aware of the need to submit an individual/team permit application before participating in any events that are not organised by the Silver Blades Club, or SAISA or ISA's events.

Skaters who are currently enrol in Skate School at Thebarton IceArenA, are encouraged to talk to the Skate school director.
